• An Unforgettable Alpine Experience: Begin your day at 8:30 hrs from „Gropa e Erenikut“ (1,700m elevation) and embark on a 12-kilometer hike through Kosovo’s most stunning landscapes, with nearly 1,000 meters of altitude gain. You’ll be guided by experienced local experts who know the area inside out.
• Cultural Treasures Along the Way: As you hike, you’ll have the chance to engage with Kosovo’s rich cultural heritage—learn how to make flia, milk sheep, and enjoy the sounds of traditional music.
• Meet the Ambassador in a New Light: This is your chance to connect with the German Ambassador in an inspiring, informal setting, far from the usual formalities.
• Choose Your Adventure: Whether you’re up for the challenge of reaching the peak or prefer a more relaxed journey, there’s a route for you. A shorter option is available for those who wish to enjoy the hike without the final ascent.
• End of the Journey: We expect to return to our starting point by 17:00 hrs.

Important Details:

• Meeting Point: „Gropa e Erenikut,“ accessible by car from the village of Junik. Please note that participants are responsible for arriving at the starting point on their own.
• What to Bring: Don’t forget to pack plenty of water, a lunch, and to dress appropriately for the alpine environment. Proper hiking boots and attire are essential, given the rugged terrain and variable weather conditions. Make sure you’re equipped with sun protection—bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
